Walks, trails, refuges, and high altitudes

Val di Sole is a popular destination for families and athletes looking for a mountain holiday with trekking and hiking.
Rich in greenery, pastures, and protected by the Dolomites, with peaks over 3,000 meters high, Val di Sole is also strategically located for reaching neighboring valleys and the highest peaks of the Brenta Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

For example, during your stay in Val di Sole, you can visit the nearby Val di Pejo, thanks to the ski lifts that take you up to 3,000 meters above sea level.

For a high-altitude hike, you can take the cable car from Pejo Fonti and in just a few minutes you'll find yourself among the mountain pastures of Tarlenta.

From here, you can see the Presena Glacier at over 3,000 meters above sea level!

And for those who enjoy family hikes without being particularly athletic or well-equipped, you can also explore the trails that lead to the Stelvio National Park, through mountain meadows, dense forests, and streams rushing down the slopes.

Near the Val di Sole and Val di Peso, you can also visit the Val di Rabbi, which begins in the Val di Sole and leads into the heart of the Stelvio National Park.
